Art & Science frequently creates photometric models as a predictive design tool. While these are not meant to be photorealistic images, they are highly indicative of not only footcandle outcomes, but the mood and texture of a space. They can include real daylighting studies based upon longitude, latitude, date, time, architecture, and fenestration. Models use luminaire photometry in IES format, and may be constructed from scratch, or by importing 3-D dwg. files and assigning appropriate materials and reflectances.
